Needham Boys Basketball Awarded 3rd Seed in D1 South Tournament

NEEDHAM, MA — It’s tournament time for high school sports in Massachusetts and Needham has been ranked among the best in the MIAA Division 1 South boys basketball tournaments.

The Rockets have been awarded the third seed and will face the 14th-ranked Barnstable in the first round on March 1. If the Rockets win, they will advance to the quarterfinals and face the winner of the inter-city showdown between Newton North and Newton South.
