NEEDHAM, MA — Needham police said the bomb threat they received on Tuesday was false. The department received a call from the Advanced Auto Parts store on 2nd Avenue. The caller said they received a bomb threat from an anonymous caller.

Needham police and fire crews responded to the business to set up a perimeter, out of an abundance of caution. A shelter-in-place was called to nearby businesses.

The Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad swept the building and found nothing — the building and area were deemed safe.
