Students in kindergarten through grade 2 read stories together with the grandparents, sharing a special bond and creating new memories. “Read Across America Day” is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that celebrates the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. There were smiles and laughter all around as both students and grandparents experienced the joy of reading. The kids were thrilled to have their grandparents at school and the grandparents loved seeing the students at school. Beth, Zach and Anne thoroughly enjoyed the day at Rashi!
