Needham's Blue On Highland Reopening for Contactless Takeout

The restaurant had been closed since last March but will reopen with its spring menu, which includes spicy fish tacos, burgers and more.

"We have been working on some exciting changes while we have been closed," the restaurant owners said on Facebook. "While you will still find your favorite dishes on our menu, we have added some delicious seasonal and vegan dishes too!"

NEEDHAM, MA — Blue on Highland, an American-style restaurant with dishes from tuna poke to burgers to a sriracha shrimp, will reopen Thursday for curbside service after being closed for over a year.

It'll initially be open for contactless takeout from 4 to 9 p.m., but will expand to brunch, lunch, and dinner, according to the website. Cocktails, beer and wine will also be available for takeout.

Blue on Highland’s owners announced last June that they wouldn’t be reopening for the summer because of restrictions on restaurants and advice from their consultants. In the past few weeks, they’ve advertised openings for servers, cooks, hosts, and support staff.
