A beloved school tradition, the kindergarten Passover Seder is one of the school's most anticipated events of the year

There were smiles all around at The Rashi School's Annual Kindergarten Seder. Each of the twenty-two students designed their own Haggadah to participate in the Seder. Amidst singing songs, reciting the 10 plagues using drops of juice, and eating the traditional ceremonial foods, the students and teachers celebrated the rituals of this important holiday. The Seder culminated with the “afikomen hunt” (finding the hidden piece of matzah) outside on the Rashi School playground. The students prepared for weeks beforehand and were excited to present their interpretation of this special Jewish holiday.
