Traffic Advisory: Detour For Utility Work At South Street

NEEDHAM, MA — Police announced they are setting up a detour on Dedham Avenue for anyone traveling westbound to get to South Street. The reason for the detour is so Eversource Electric can make emergency repairs in the area of South Street and Marr Road.

Anyone traveling eastbound on South Street can access Dedham Avenue as they normally would, but starting at 6 p.m. Thursday night, South Street will be closed between Dedham Avenue and Webster Street.
