Chestnut Hill’s Hummingbird Books To Host Local Author Book Fair

The event will be held on Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. and feature nearly 30 local authors.

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — On September 15, the new indie bookstore Hummingbird Books will welcome nearly 30 local authors to its first Local Author Book Fair.

The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. and is free to attend. Bianca restaurant will also be providing samples of Mr. Roni’s pizza to attendees.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these local authors and provide a venue for them to showcase their hard work and connect with the community,'' Wendy Dodson, owner of Hummingbird Books, said in a statement. “There are so many talented authors in the area and they are the lifeblood of our business and we are proud to celebrate them.”
