Conan O’Brien Visits, Praises West Newton Restaurant

The comedian ate at The Bluebird Bar & Wood-Fired Grill on Saturday.

NEWTON, MA — Comedian and television host Conan O’Brien was seen eating at a restaurant in West Newton Saturday evening.

O’Brien later Tweeted that his brother, Luke, took him to The Bluebird Bar & Wood-Fired Grill.

“If these guys aren't geniuses, I don't know the meaning of the word,” he wrote.

The restaurant responded to O’Brien’s praises on its Facebook page Sunday, thanking him for sharing his positive experience.

"It was our pleasure,” the restaurant said. "We appreciate the love. Thank you so much, Conan! Looking forward to hosting you, Luke, and the family again soon."

O’Brien is no stranger to Greater Boston. He was born in Brookline, graduated from Brookline High School, and attended Harvard University.
