COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Clinics Planned At Newton Library

The clinics are open to anyone older than six months.

NEWTON, MA — Area community members still needing an updated bivalent COVID-19 vaccine booster shot can receive one free of charge at a series of vaccine clinics planned this month at the Newton Free Library, officials announced last week.

The clinics are open to anyone ages six months and older. The clinics will operate by appointment only in the library's Druker Auditorium at 330 Homer St. in Newton.

The first of the clinics was scheduled to run on Tuesday. Remaining clinics are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, Jan. 5 — 10:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 13 — 10:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 23 — 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 24 — 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 31 — 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Newton Health and Human Services is offering these clinics in partnership with Holtzman Medical Group.
