Distraction Beer Garden Returning To Chestnut Hill Square

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — Distraction Brewing Company Beer Garden will return to Chestnut Hill Square on Thursday, August 4.

The outdoor craft brewery will be open Thursdays and Fridays in August from 4 to 8 p.m., and Thursdays through Saturdays in September and October from noon to 8 p.m., weather permitting.

Distraction will serve up the brewery’s locally-made craft beers, such as Hoppily Distracted (New England IPA), Raspberry Wundertart (Sour Berliner Weisse Ale), Vivid Flashback (West Coast IPA), and more.

“We are excited to welcome Distraction Beer Garden back to Chestnut Hill Square,” Rebekah Macchia, Marketing Director of Chestnut Hill Square, said in a statement. “The Distraction Beer Garden is a wonderful addition to the many offerings at the center.”

Distraction Brewing Co. is a small, family-run craft brewery in Roslindale Square that offers a rotating selection of handcrafted draft and canned beers, its proprietary maltini cocktails, and snacks and bites from some of Boston’s best chefs.

Since opening in 2019, the 75-seat taproom and outdoor beer garden run by husband and wife duo, Mike and Lora Estey, has hosted several rotating pop-up events, entertainment, and music.
