CHESTNUT HILL, MA — The Friendly Toast Restaurants, including the location in Chestnut Hill, are joining together to help raise awareness and funds for the people of Ukraine.

In addition to their initial donation of $1,000, The Friendly Toast will donate two dollars from each seasonal special sold directly towards World Central Kitchen, an organization that provides hot meals to Ukrainians suffering from the Russian invasion of their country.

“Our dedicated donation program has shown the ability to raise significant dollars for charity partners and organizations in need,” Eric Goodwin, Co-Owner of The Friendly Toast, said in a statement. "World Central Kitchen has been on the front lines of this crisis since it first began, providing warm meals to those who are displaced from their homes and those who are unable to leave and are sheltering in Ukraine.”
