The Friendly Toast Opens Newest Location In Chestnut Hill

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — The Friendly Toast has opened its fifth and newest Massachusetts location in The Shops at Chestnut Hill.

The Chestnut Hill Friendly Toast is a 4,000 square feet restaurant and all-day brunch and bar spot that can accommodate 185 guests in the dining and bar areas as well as 40 guests on the patio.

The exterior features a fire-lit patio with colorful furniture and ambient lighting, while the interior includes a full bar and eclectic decor featuring vintage artwork and other nostalgic elements from the mid-century era.

“We are very excited to continue to expand our footprint in Massachusetts and bring another Friendly Toast to Greater Boston,” said Eric Goodwin, Co-Owner of The Friendly Toast, in a statement. “Our delicious food and drinks, mixed with our vibrant dining atmosphere, not to mention exceptional service, make The Toast the perfect place for friends and family to eat and gather while enjoying a one-of-a-kind experience.”

The Friendly Toast’s menu features over 70 items, including signature favorites like the Avocado Toast, Chicken Cordon Bleu Benedict, and the Highway Strawberry, as well as rotating specials that feature seasonal flavors and locally sourced ingredients such as Slopeside Maple Syrup from Vermont, New Hampshire based North Country Smokehouse meats, and other local produce from all over New England.

The bar menu features funky cocktail creations using a wide variety of ingredients and flavors such as infused vodkas, house-made bloody Mary mix, and the Dreamsicle cocktail. There are also the popular Margarita, Mimosa, and Bloody Mary Flights.

In addition to its extensive menu, The Friendly Toast is a supporter of the Chestnut Hill and surrounding communities, and participates in monthly charity specials and donations that benefit local organizations such as Shultz’s Guest House and St. Francis House.
