How Much Snow Did Newton Get?

It's been a white Valentine's Day weekend. Here's how much fell in Newton Sunday night into Monday.

NEWTON, MA – Now that we've gotten our heads above (frozen) water, let's take stock and see where the most snow fell over the past few days.

Because of temperatures straddling freezing, much of what fell around the state was rain and sleet, depressing some totals. But many areas still saw a foot of snow. According to readings from the National Weather Service measured at 9:07 a.m. on Monday, West Newton saw 9.3 inches of snow.
