NEWTON, MA — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Where: Albemarle Field/Halloran Field

When: 9 p.m.

Newton’s celebrations are returning this year with events all day on Monday, July 4 at Albemarle and Halloran Fields. Kids activities will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and afternoon and evening events will include carnival rides, games, food, a craft market, and an East Coast Soul concert at 6:30 p.m.
