‘Limani’ Mediterranean Restaurant Opens At The Street Chestnut Hill

Limani at The Street is the restaurant's third location and first outside of New York.

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — The New York-based mediterranean restaurant Limani has opened a location at The Street Chestnut Hill.

Limani at The Street is the restaurant’s third location and first outside of New York. Spanning two levels, the new eatery overlooks Hammond Pond and boasts a spacious wine bar on the ground floor.

Known for creating an experience that is welcoming and family-oriented, Limani incorporates Mediterranean flavors and colorful spices in a bright, coastal inspired setting.

The menu includes dishes such as Limani Chips, made with paper thin cut zucchini and eggplant and served with lightly fried kefalograviera cheese and tzatziki, authentic Greek Tomato Salad, Octopus, and Fagri For Two. Limani also showcases The Fish Table, a curated display of fresh catches where guests can choose a fish to be cooked with their meal, and has an extensive drink menu with specialty cocktails named after Greek mythology.

“The Street Chestnut Hill is a dining destination that continues to introduce new and exciting restaurants to the neighborhood,” Alana Stein, General Manager of The Street, said in a statement. "From the menu to the ambiance, Limani offers such a special experience. It’s really the perfect spot for any occasion, from family dinners, date nights, and weeknight drinks with friends to business lunches, celebratory dining and private events."

Limani is open Monday through Thursday from 12 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 9pm. Reservations for lunch and dinner are available via Open Table.
