"By Friday night, light snow will finally come to end across Southern New England, followed by drying northwest winds," according to NBC10 Boston meteorologist Aaron Perry. "When all is said and done Saturday morning, we will likely see a regionwide 3 to 6" with higher amounts of 7 to 8" possible across Eastern Mass. due to ocean-effect snow bands."

Because this storm is not likely to bring as much wind with it and forecasters expect the snow around greater Lowell to be light and fluffy, there's less of a chance for cancellations or emergency parking restrictions, but we'll update if there are any changes.
