"Our founder started Garden Remedies partially in response to her own experience with breast cancer,” Jeffrey Herold, CEO of GRI, said in a statement. “It will always be an integral part of the Garden Remedies mission to support people and families in our communities who are struggling with cancer.”

Runway for Recover seeks to redefine the experience of breast cancer for families through community support, restorative events, and more — including an annual Fashion Show that celebrates those who are fighting, remembers those who have past, and inspires support for those who will be affected by breast cancer.

“We love partnerships that seek to support those impacted by the disease while also helping our growth as an organization,” Olivia Achtmeyer Boger, founder of Runway for Recovery, said in a statement. “So many of our models have found cannabis to be incredibly helpful during their illness, so we are thrilled to partner with Garden Remedies, and grateful that they are willing to be so generous during the month of October!”

Based in Newburyport, Runway for Recovery was founded in 2007 and recently completed its 15th Anniversary Year.

“We’re so proud to partner with Runway for Recovery this month, and to assist their own mission to provide services that create joy and inspire hope for those who have lost a loved one to breast cancer,” Herold added.
