NEWTON, MA — All Over Newton will host a Thanksgiving Market on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 12-4 p.m. at the Allen Center in West Newton.

Ten specialty vendors and a Massachusetts farm will deliver produce, pop-in-the-oven hors d’oeuvres, desserts, locally roasted coffee, honey, jams, hostess gifts, and empanada dinners for the busy nights before Thanksgiving.

There will even be a mobile knife sharpener on site for $10 per knife so cutlery is in tip-top shape for holiday carving.

“The Thanksgiving Market at the Allen Center brings together many of Newton’s favorite farmers’ market vendors, in one place, for easy holiday shopping,” Lauren Berman of All Over Newton said in a statement.

Shoppers place orders in advance and stop by to pick up their purchases. There is a Nov. 17 cutoff date for produce box orders and a few vendors will be inside the Allen Center for last minute purchases.

“Some items, like the Massachusetts-grown produce boxes, should be ordered right away,” Berman added.

"We‘re delighted to host this special event at the Allen Center,” Adrienne Hartzell Knudsen, the
center’s Director, said in a statement. “Our vision for the Allen Center is to be a nexus for Newton--bringing together art, culture, and community. This Thanksgiving event does just that.”
