Triple Homicide In Newton: 3 Found Dead In Home, Authorities Say

NEWTON, MA — Authorities are investigating an apparent triple homicide after three elderly people were found dead in a home in Newton.

The victims were reported around 10:15 a.m. Sunday at a residence on Broadway Street in the Nonantum neighborhood, according to authorities.

“At this time police are actively searching for the person or persons responsible,” authorities said in a news release. “This is a very active and ongoing investigation.”

Broadway Street was closed Sunday afternoon between Churchill Street and Linwood Avenue, according to authorities, who asked people to avoid the area. Nonantum residents were advised to expect an increased police presence, check door and window locks, and report suspicious activities to police at 617-796-2123.
