Update: Needham Street In Newton Now Open To Traffic

NEWTON, MA — Needham Street in Newton is now open to traffic after being temporarily closed Wednesday afternoon due to a broken gas line.

Crews are still working at the intersection of Needham and Charlemont Streets and residents are asked to use caution when driving through the area.

Newton Police Department has detail officers in place to assist with traffic around the area.

The city will provide another update when work is complete.
