Water Main Break Will Keep Mass Pike Ramp Closed In Newton

NEWTON, MA — Local drivers who enter the Mass Pike from ramps near the Newton Corner should expect delays Friday afternoon.

A water main break along Washington Street forced the closure of the westbound I-90 on-ramp from Washington Street, according to MassDOT. Other on and off-ramps in the area were not affected.

MassDOT did not immediately provide an estimate on how long the on-ramp might be blocked.
