Helping Hands drive helps to keep families warm this winter
Northborough Helping Hands is collecting donations of winter coats, boots, snow pants, hats and mittens through Monday, Oct. 16.

Are you cleaning and sorting your closets as the season changes? Fall is in the air and that means cooler temps are not far behind. The Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc. (NHHA) is kicking off its annual Winter Gear Drive on Wednesday, September 20. New and gently used coats, boots, snow pants, hats, mittens and gloves are being collected through Monday, October 16. Items should also be clean without stains, rips or tears. All sizes (infants-adults) are needed.
Donations will benefit Northborough families in need. All requests for assistance are received through the collaboration with town social service programs. Collected items will be distributed in late October to eligible families.

Businesses are welcomed to participate in this community effort and host a collection on site with their employees.
The mission of NHHA is to assist residents through the coordination of its programs, including the holiday program, backpack drive, medical equipment loan program, emergency aid program and scholarship program.
