NORWOOD, MA - Norwood residents will no longer have to go south of the town border when tempted for tasty tacos, as Taco Bell opened its latest franchise in town on Oct. 13.

Franchise owner Roger Lockwood, the chairman of Lockwood/McKinnon Company, is no stranger in town or to the business. The Norwood resident also owns the Walpole Taco Bell and is excited to bring some Mexican flavor to his town.

"We chose to open a Taco Bell in Norwood because we wanted to provide the Taco Bell experience to the town in a greater and more convenient location than the Walpole Taco Bell," he said in a conversation Monday. "I've lived in Norwood since 1962. I live next to the Norwood High School, and all of my six children graduated from there."
