Search Intensifies for Missing Man with Dementia in Plymouth

Plymouth police continue urgent search for Rodney Riviello, 69, last seen at Beth Israel Deaconess, urging residents to check property.

Authorities have launched an extensive search for Rodney Riviello, a 69-year-old man with dementia who went missing yesterday morning. Mr. Riviello was last seen leaving Beth Israel Deaconess in Plymouth around 11:15 AM, heading towards Jabez Corner. Since then, efforts to locate him have been ongoing, involving dozens of officers and spanning a five-mile radius from the hospital.

"We are actively looking to locate Rodney Riviello," stated Chief Thomas Andrews of the Plymouth Police Department. "He is a bald, heavy-set white male wearing a collared striped shirt, blue shorts, and possibly a Yankees baseball hat."

Concerns for Mr. Riviello's well-being are mounting due to his medical condition. "Residents are urged to thoroughly check their properties, including reviewing any Ring or CCTV footage that may have captured Mr. Riviello passing by," Chief Andrews added. The community has been asked to extend their search efforts up to a two-mile radius from Beth Israel Deaconess, covering most villages of Plymouth.

The search has intensified with officers combing through neighborhoods and wooded areas, hoping to find any trace of the missing man.
