Man Charged With Robbery, Lewdness In Reading: Police

A man stole food from a delivery driver, then exposed himself while in the backyard of a Main Street home, according to police.

READING, MA — A man has been charged with robbery and for exposing himself in Reading, according to police.

Police responded at 10:20 p.m. Monday on a report of a man causing a disturbance and stealing food from a restaurant at 257 Main St.

Police learned that a man had stolen a food order from a driver in the drive-through window and ran away.

At 10:41 p.m., officers received another report from a resident on Main Street that a man was in their backyard and refused to leave.

Officers responded to the home and found the man, who appeared to be standing over a Burger King bag. He was arrested and an investigation found that he had exposed himself while in the backyard of the home.

Corey Tetreault, 33, of Gill, was charged with unarmed robbery, disorderly conduct, open and gross lewdness, and larceny under $1,200.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Woburn District Court on Tuesday.
