Town Of Reading Releases Information On Summer Mosquito Spraying

The town has released information about mosquito spraying intended to control pest populations.

READING, MA — Mosquito spraying is being done in Reading to help control populations.

The town posted the following on its Facebook page:

The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project is planning to use a truck mounted aerosol sprayer to control mosquito populations around Reading this summer. Spraying will be done between sunset and 11:30 PM. On Thursday, June 27, 2024, spraying is scheduled for areas of Reading that are in the vicinity of Sanborn Lane, Emerson Street, Pasture Road, Fairchild Drive, Van Norden Road, Grove Street, Lowell Street, Forest Street, Dustin Road, Berkeley Street, Bond Street, and Mineral Street.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, spraying is scheduled for areas of Reading that are located in the vicinity of Libby Avenue, Haverhill Street, Pearl Street, Charles Street, Pasture Road, Fairchild Drive, Van Norden Road, Forest Street, and roads off of Grove Street, and roads off of Franklin Street.
