Boston Calling Music Festival: First Look

The three-day music event returns on Friday, Sept. 5 with performances by the likes of The National and Lorde.

The semi-annual Boston Calling Music Festival will return to City Hall Plaza on Friday, Sept. 5 until Sunday, Sept. 7.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, and The National will headline that night. Gates open at noon on Saturday, with acts such as Lorde, Childish Gambino and Girl Talk taking the stage. The Boston Calling Music Festival will wind down on Sunday after performances by Nas x The Roots and Spoon.

Food options, including vegetarian dishes, will be offered. Beer and wine will also be available.

City Hall Plaza is MBTA-accessible by way of the Orange, Green, Blue or Red Line. Discounted Government Center Garage parking passes are available to those who purchase parking in advance.

General admission tickets for the Boston Calling Music Festival are $50 for Friday and $75 for either weekend day.
