Boston Named America's Best City for Sports Fans

WalletHub compared 341 cities for it's "2015 Best & Worst Cities for Sports Fans" report.

With four Super Bowl wins, three World Series victories, one Stanley Cup championship and one NBA title since 2001, it’s only fitting Boston was selected as the best city in the United States for sports fans.

That’s according to a recent study conducted by WalletHub. The financial website’s staff compared 341 cities for it’s 2015 Best & Worst Cities for Sports Fans report.

Rankings were based on more than 50 key metrics including, performance level of the city’s teams, average ticket price of a game, number of sports bars and attendance rate.

Denver, Pittsburgh, Washington and Chicago, followed up Boston to round out the top 5 sports cities in America.
