ROSLINDALE, MA – The Robert Street bridge is coming down. And the MBTA wants to share what that will look like with residents. The MBTA is slated to present information about the Robert Street Bridge Project, which carries the Needham Commuter Rail Line over Robert Street in Roslindale (near Roslindale Village Station), at a public meeting scheduled for April 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Roslindale Community Center.

Built in 1898 and rehabilitated in 1985, the bridge is slated to be replaced, starting later this year. The MBTA is inviting residents and businesses to attend the public meeting to view the most current design plans, share their input and learn about plans to mitigate potential construction impacts.

If you know of someone who might need language translation assistance, the MBTA is asking you email [email protected] or call 617-357-5772 x26 before April 19.
