Here’s the list of what to expect next time you’re killin’ time at Yawkey Way:

  • Reliable, faster WiFi.
  • A total of 174 additional seats, with 28 seats added to the bleachers section and others to the State Street Pavilion and EMC Suite levels. Space for the 28 new seats came from relocating the centerfield camera platform from the bottom of the bleachers to an elevated camera basket beneath the Bank of America video board, according to WHDH.
  • A play area called Wally’s Clubhouse, for those restless tikes who can’t sit through a 9-inning game.
  • A revamped Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck.
  • A private outdoor group space, the Lansdowne Pavilion, has been added for groups of 10-16 people.
  • A new tradition: On Saturday, April 25, Fenway will host its first-ever matchup between teams from historically black universities, as it plays host to the Florida A&M Rattlers and North Carolina Central University Eagles. Their Fenway game is scheduled to be the third in a series after a doubleheader in Roxbury Friday at Jim Rice Field.

***Also on April 25 is an open house for fans. Check out Fenway Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.***
