Pine Manor College Announces Recent Boston Graduates

Five Boston Residents Graduated from Pine Manor College on May 20th

Pine Manor College is pleased to announce that five Boston residents graduated from the college at their 107th Commencement on May 20th.

  • Hyde Park resident, Hapuruchi Avugara, '18, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Avugara previously graduated from the Urban Science Academy in West Roxbury.
  • Dorchester resident, Brianna Gary, '18, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood: Education, Health, and Leadership. Gary previously graduated from TechBoston Academy in Dorchester.
  • Mattapan resident, Brianna Gonsalves '18, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Gonsalves was selected as one of two Senior Class Speakers at Commencement and spoke of the challenges and triumphs that led to self-discovery during her college experience. Gonsalves previously graduated from Dorchester Academy in Dorchester.
  • Jamaica Plain resident, Jennifer Sanchez '18, graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. Sanchez previously graduated from Boston International High School in Dorchester.
  • Hyde Park resident, Karina Valdez-Santana '18, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood: Education, Health, and Leadership. Valdez-Santana previously graduated from Excel High School in South Boston.
