Project Bread’s 54th Walk for Hunger – Virtual in 2022

A fundraiser to support ending hunger in MA with online events on Sunday, May 1

The Walk for Hunger is seeking participants to join our community dedicated to doing good by helping get food to kids and families throughout the Commonwealth! Hosted on our digital platforms this year, the Walk for Hunger is a fundraiser that supports Project Bread’s work to increase food access for people of all ages in Massachusetts. Registration is open for the annual event, which is set for Sunday, May 1. In its 54th year, the day will be marked with virtual programming and thousands of caring community members participating in the oldest pledge walk in the country by walking locally in their own neighborhoods. The Walk is expected to raise over $1 million to support food assistance resources and sustainable policy solutions to end hunger. Likeminded anti-hunger organizations can enroll in our co-fundraising program, The Commonwealth, forming teams to raise money to support their own work, while also furthering the statewide effort. There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate. To register for the event and create a personal or team fundraising page for The Walk for Hunger or to make a donation, visit projectbread.org/walk or call (617) 723-5000.
