Roslindale Teen Participates in Red Sox Mobile Truck Launch

Roslindale, MA – A Roslindale teen joined the Boston Red Sox for the debut of the team's mobile truck, which brings the Fenway experience to local communities.

Eighteen-year-old Amari Harrison was among a group of children and young adults who participated in the launch of "The Red Sox Showcase powered by T-Mobile" alongside Red Sox pitcher Matt Barnes, team president Sam Kennedy and mascots Wally and Tessie.

Throughout the 2016 baseball season, the truck, decorated in the vein of the Green Monster, will make stops at a number of events throughout New England, according to a press release. Young fans will have the opportunity to take part in a virtual reality baseball experience, a steal 2nd base challenge, a batting cage with personalized walk up music and several other activities through the "Calling All Kids" initiative.
