Salem Resident Celebrated For 4 Decades Of Service At Salem State

Vice President of Student Success Nate Bryant will retire at the end of June.

SALEM, MA — Salem resident Nate Bryant is being celebrated for his four decades of service at Salem State University ahead of his retirement as the school's Vice President of Student Success at the end of June.

Bryant, who earned his undergraduate degree at SSU in 1987, has held several leadership roles at the university during the past 36 years and is a former member of the Salem School Committee. He is a trustee of Mass General Brigham/Salem Hospital, is a member of the Northeast Arc Board of Directors and is a corporator of Marblehead Bank.

He also served as interim president at North Shore Community College and has helped develop SSU partnership with the state community college system.

The school is planning to recognize Bryant and his contributions during the Alumni Weekend events this weekend with a program planned for 4 to 6 p.m. in the North Campus Dining Common, First Floor, 352 Lafayette Street (located behind the Sophia Gordon Center for the Performing Arts).
