SHREWSBURY, MA — Drivers in southwest Shrewsbury should prepare for some detours beginning in April as the town prepares to rebuild some sewer infrastructure.

The town is planning to start construction on the Howe Avenue sewer pump station on April 11. The project should be complete by May, weather permitting.

During construction, Howe Avenue will switch to a one-way during work hours. During construction, travel will only flow northwest toward Oak Avenue, according to the town.
