SHREWSBURY, MA — Welcome to the June 20 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up during the week in Patch communities between Wayland and Worcester.

Shrewsbury
The Fraud Brigade is coming to Shrewsbury — but they're here to help. A group of AmeriCorps volunteers will visit the senior center on Tuesday to talk about common scams that target older people.

Worcester
Worcester's master planning process will reach a major milestone this week with the first in-person meeting. Worcester Now | Next is taking feedback from residents about the future direction of the city — everything from housing to roadway improvements and much more. Thursday's meeting takes place at the senior center.
Wayland
The Wayland Board of Public Works will hold its annual water rate hearing on Tuesday. Residents will get a preview of the rates that will go into effect on July 1.

Marlborough
Two more Marlborough aquatic facilities will come online this week. The recreation department plans to open the Farell and Ward Park wading pools on Thursday. Those are the last two to open after Memorial Beach and the splash pads opened last week.
Milford
The Milford Planning Board on Tuesday will hold a public hearing over plans to redevelop the now-demolished Richard's Roadhouse restaurant into a new Milford Federal Bank branch. The bank will sit at the corner of Birch and Medway (Route 109) streets.
Westborough
The 2022 Westborough Farmers Market season begins on Thursday. The 18 markets will be held each Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. with almost 30 vendors, plus music and activities for kids. This year, the market is in a new location.
Sudbury
The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will be in Sudbury on Tuesday around dusk. Trucks will travel through neighborhoods around Belcher Drive, Hampshire Street, Grindstone Lane, Atkinson Lane, Intervale Road and Barton Drive to spray the pesticide Zenivex E4.
