Shrewsbury Nationals Bring Home Little League District Championship
The 11-year-olds beat Northborough in the championship game.
It was an exciting weekend for Shrewsbury's 11-year-old All-Star Nationals team as they took home their second championship as a team.
The game was played in Millbury and according to the Shrewsbury Lantern the Nationals beat the Northborough team 6-2.
The game wasn't the blowout that it might appear to be.

The Lantern's game recap shows that the Nationals were leading by three or less runs until they scored three runs in the sixth inning.
Last year many members of the Nationals competed as 10-year-olds taking home the championship in that age group as well.
