Marlborough

A developer is planning a 200-plus unit mixed-use apartment complex along Mechanic Street in the French Hill neighborhood. The Marlborough City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposal on Monday, allowing residents to give feedback about the project.

Milford

The Milford Select Board will likely hire a town attorney on Monday. Former town counsel Charles Boddy resigned several weeks ago, and now former town counsel — and a 2021 Town Moderator candidate — Gerald Moody is up for the job. Moody will serve until the town finds a permanent replacement. He will earn about $200 per hour and work about 15 hours per week, according to the town.

Westborough

The Westborough Civic Club on Saturday will host a free fishing challenge at Sandra Pond, 91 Upton Road. The club will have bait and a few loaner fishing poles available, and prizes will be awarded for fishing feats. Find out more on the club's website.

Sudbury

Street sweeping season in Sudbury begins on Monday and will last for four weeks. During the sweeping, residents should not park along roadways, and should not put yard waste in the gutters, according to the public works department.
