Avalon Sudbury Affordable Housing Applications Now Available

Enrollment is open for Sudbury's newest affordable housing program.

SUDBURY, MA—Avalon's newest non-smoking community in Sudbury has opened its enrollment period for its affordable housing program.

Applications are due by Feb. 15 at 5 p.m.

Part of the new Meadow Walk Sudbury development on the old Raytheon site on Route 20, Avalon writes, "our Sudbury apartments combine upscale apartment features, friendly staff and prime location to deliver a more effortless apartment living experience. Located in Middlesex County, our Sudbury apartments are 10 miles to Routes I-95, Rt 128, I-90, and I-495. There are plenty of sights to explore nearby including the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, the Wayside Grist Mill, and Marlborough-Sudbury State Forest. Located conveniently near everything you need, our apartments in Sudbury offer top notch amenities and features."

In June of 2016, Sudbury's Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to approve the development agreement with National Development and Avalon Bay Communities, the developers of the former Raytheon site. Called Meadow Walk Sudbury, the development is located at 528 Boston Post Road (Route 20) in Sudbury. The project includes village-style retail, restaurants, assisted-living and age-restricted condominiums.
