Back to Nature: Internship, Volunteer Opportunities with Sudbury Valley Trustees

SUDBURY, MA—Want to connect with nature and learn about conservation efforts? The Sudbury Valley Trustees offers numerous volunteer opportunities, and also has an internship position open for the fall of 2016. There are ten volunteer positions open right now, from event host to outing leader.

Here is some information via SVTs on opportunities:

  • Fall 2016 Stewardship Assistant Intern: The Stewardship Assistant Intern assists with stewardship of reservations held by Sudbury Valley Trustees. Primary responsibilities will include locating, marking and monitoring property boundaries, and general monitoring of properties. The Stewardship Assistant will assist with other stewardship activities including both office and field work (such as property maintenance and trail mowing) and working with volunteers on various stewardship tasks. This is an unpaid position.

SVT relies on volunteers to help protect and steward land, to help coordinate events and programs, and to perform office tasks.
