Join First Parish of Sudbury for our summer lay-led service: Evangelicalism: From Jesus to Trump with Joy Aldrich.
Drawing on personal experience growing up in the Assembly of God church in Oklahoma, as well as books The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory by Tim Alberta and The Exvangelicals: Loving, Living and Leaving the White Evangelical Church by Sarah McCammon, we’ll trace the movement from its spiritual origins to the political behemoth it has become and where its current leaders aim to take it.
In-person or online
