SUDBURY, MA — A national retail banking chain may soon open its newest branch at the Shaw's plaza along the Boston Post Road in Sudbury.

The Sudbury Planning Board on May 22 will review plans for a new freestanding 3,100 square-foot building at the 505 Boston Post Road plaza. The planning board documents for the upcoming meeting indicate that the building will house a Chase bank.

The developer, Boston-based T.A. Sudbury, LLC, is seeking site plan approval and a stormwater management permit from the planning board. T.A. Sudbury is also the owner of the Shaw's plaza. The project would take up about 38,000 square-feet in the shopping center parking lot.
