Concord Road In Sudbury Closed For Drainage Structure Repair
The closure will take place near the site of a drain collapse that happened in early April.
SUDBURY, MA — A project to repair a damaged drain in Sudbury will mean the closure of a crucial section of Concord Road this week, according to the town.
Concord Road will be closed starting Monday for "multiple days" between Union Avenue and Old Lancaster Road. During the closure, the town will be repairing a drain that collapsed near the intersection of Union Avenue on April 3.
The town is asking drivers to try to avoid the area, but detours around the project can be made using Old Sudbury Road and Goodmans Hill Road — although trucks are not allowed on Goodmans Hill.
