SUDBURY, MA — Some very 21st Century devices will soon be coming to Sudbury's 19th Century library.

The Goodnow Library is planning to install four electric vehicle charging stations in the rear of the parking lot. The project is a collaboration between the library trustees and Sudbury's Energy and Sustainability Committee.

Sudbury Combined Facilities Director Sandra Duran is set to go before the town Historic Districts Commission on May 2 for formal approval to install the charging stations. The commission approves changes for either architecturally or historically significant buildings in town, including in the four historic districts. The Goodnow is located in the King Philip Historic District.
