'Give Thanks for the Land' in Sudbury's Memorial Forest

Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is offering a free Thanksgiving Day outing at Memorial Forest in Sudbury to celebrate local nature and wildlife on this day of appreciation and thanks.

Join Lisa Vernegaard, SVT’s executive director, on Thursday, Nov. 26, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for a fast paced walk along the trails to work up an appetite for your Thanksgiving feast. All ages welcome.

According to SVTs, “this sprawling landscape, stretching over 2000 acres in Sudbury and Marlborough, has undergone extensive habitat restoration over the past two years. Learn more about the actions taken and the successful results we have observed in both wildlife and plants.”
