Back To School: Sudbury Backpack Drive Seeks Donations

SUDBURY, MA — An annual effort to supply local students with backpacks full of school supplies kicked off this week.

HOPEsudbury's annual backpack drive stuffs book bags full of supplies like notepads, calculators, pens, lunchboxes and more for Sudbury students across all grades. The nonprofit will be accepting donations through Aug. 12.

Donations can be made through Amazon, or by dropping off supplies in a bin at the Goodnow Library.

Parents who need a backpack for their students can head to the HOPEsudbury website to make a request. The backpacks are free to anyone attending either Sudbury Public Schools or Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

The first day of school for all Sudbury and Lincoln-Sudbury students is Aug. 31.
