How Much Snow Sudbury Got In February Nor'easter

SUDBURY, MA — Meteorologists predicted between 12 and 18 inches of snow would fall during a strong nor'easter that rolled in on Monday — and they were mostly correct.

The National Weather Service has gathered preliminary snow totals from across the state. Lowell was the winner in the state with 24 inches, and Athol clocking in at 22 inches.

But other local towns were not far behind. Hudson picked up 17 inches, and Framingham and Natick saw 16 inches and 13 inches, respectively

A winter weather advisory will remain in place until Tuesday afternoon, with about an inch of snow or sleet expected west of I-95, according to the weather service.

The weather service also reported top wind gusts. The highest in the state was a 71 mph gust in Wellfleet. Locally, Worcester Airport recorded a peak gust of 48 mph, and the Blue Hills observatory captured a 58 mph gust.

  • Concord — 14.5 inches, 11:30 a.m.
  • Marlborough — 14 inches, 12:30 a.m.
  • Natick — 13 inches, 6:38 a.m.
  • Maynard — 12 inches, 9:05 a.m.
  • Sudbury — 12 inches, 11:14 a.m.

Worcester County

  • Grafton — 18 inches, 12:30 a.m.
  • Milford — 12 inches, 10:55 p.m.
  • Worcester Airport — 16.5 inches, 10:05 a.m.
  • Worcester — 16.1 inches, 12:16 a.m.
  • Northborough — 15.5 inches, 6:04 a.m.
  • Auburn — 15.2 inches, 9:08 a.m.
  • Holden — 15.1 inches, 8:17 a.m.
  • Boylston — 14.7 inches, 7:15 a.m.
  • Winchendon — 14 inches, 6:13 a.m.
