ICYMI: The Sudbury Foundation Announces Two Grant Cycles for 2017

The grants are given to those serving children and families in areas that include Marlborough, Natick, Sudbury and Wayland.

SUDBURY, MA — This year, the Sudbury Foundation is offering nonprofits who serve children, youth and families in the area two cycles of the Children, Youth & Families grant program in which to apply for funds.

Any registered nonprofit that primarily serves children, youth and families, and works in the areas of Acton, Concord, Framingham, Hudson, Lincoln, Marlborough, Maynard, Natick, Stow, Wayland and Sudbury, are welcome to apply.

"The CY&F Capacity Building Grant Program is designed to help young people realize their full potential and become caring, productive citizens," said the announcement. "The focus is on underserved youth who face economic and/or personal barriers to success. The program provides proven youth-serving nonprofits in our geographic catchment area with funds for capacity building projects designed to strengthen the agency’s core capacities."

Last year marked the fifth year of the program and in 2017 the foundation is offering five grant tracks in both grant cycles. The first cycle starts on Feb. 9.
