SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury police are investigating a rash of car break-ins that happened late Sunday and early Monday on the northwest side of town.

Police reported more than 20 break-ins in a neighborhood off Hudson Road near the Stow town line. Sudbury police are now looking for tips from residents to track down the would-be thieves.

"Circumstances remain under investigation, but anyone who may have camera footage during the hours of darkness depicting anything suspicious or may have seen something/someone out of the ordinary please contact the Sudbury Police Department," the department said in a Facebook post Monday.

Sudbury police reminded residents to always lock car and house doors at night.

"Although perpetrators are typically looking for unlocked vehicles, if high value items are left in plain sight this may entice one to forcibly gain entry," police said in the Facebook post.
