New Restaurant Coming To Sudbury’s Meadow Walk In 2020

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury's newest shopping destination is getting a new addition in 2020. Chef Chandra Gouldrup will open a second location of her Farmer's Daughter restaurant at the Meadow Walk development along Route 20, according to the property owners.

The approximately 100-seat restaurant and bar will open in late 2020, according to National Development, which owns Meadow Walk. The Sudbury Farmer's Daughter will serve breakfast and lunch, and will be available for events during evening hours.

"After an extensive search, Chandra picked Meadow Walk in Sudbury and could not be more excited to become part of this community and one of the most quintessential New England towns. She is thrilled to be able to share her love for all things brunch while highlighting her dedication to fresh locally sourced ingredients that patrons of the original The Farmer’s Daughter have grown to love," National Development said in a statement about the restaurant.

Gouldrup opened her first Farmer's Daughter in North Easton near Brockton in 2013. The restaurant has become a popular local favorite, and in 2018 was named the best brunch spot south of Boston by Boston Magazine.

The Farmer's Daughter will move into a space next to Peet's Coffee, and will complement Meadow Walk's other restaurants, the Oak Barrel Tavern and Paani.

National Development recently asked the Sudbury Board of Selectmen to approve a liquor license for the restaurant. That license still has to be approved.
